New Photos Albums

I have posted 2 new albums to Picasa.  We took a trip out to Westcliffe, Co for some friends’ wedding.  I separated what was taken for the wedding and what I shot while site seeing.  The first one is from the Wedding.  The kid’s look incredible and you can’t beat the background that we got to shoot photos in.

The majority of the second set were taken at Pikes Peak outside of Colorado Springs.

Gavin Cares

I though this deserved a separate post. Last night Kristee was feeling the greatest and went to be early last night. The kids and I watched a Christmas movie. We went to bed a little later. They didn’t want to go to bed without their mommy telling them good night. I kept telling them that she wasn’t feeling good. Kristee still got up and told them good night.

At about 2 in the morning Gavin got out of bed and came into our room. He went to Kristee’s side of the bed and was just checking to make sure that Kristee was feeling ok. He was concerned about her and wanted make sure she was doing ok. Most of the time he wants one of us to take him back to bed and tuck him in. But last night he just checked on momma and then right back to bed.

We went to see Kristee today at work and he hugged her and told her that he wanted her to get to feeling better. He is quite the funny and caring guy.

I took the kids to a new park here in town to play, we had a blast.

Kristee and I both got to go with Halee’s class on a field trip to Cox Farms pumpkin patch. It was really cool to see Halee and all her friends from her school and how she gets along with them.

We went with Kristee down to the Haysville Fall Festival and got to do some fun things there. Unfortunately my camera’s battery ran out and I only got a few photos.

Kid’s Surprises

Even though I don’t get to see the kids much during the week, I do get to see what they “leave behind”. It does put a smile on my face, even though much of it is a mess. Today I was making myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich for work and I opened the jar of peanut butter and there was Gavin’s spoon stuck down in the peanut butter covered. I just had to laugh, but it is little things like that, that put a smile on my face and makes me think of what he was doing when he did it, funny stuff!!!

Gavin is getting to go on a field trip with his school tomorrow and go see Vegetales. Kristee is going to get to go and help take the kids in his class, so that will be exciting for her and him. I look forward to hearing about it tomorrow.
